My Storyboarding Process

This page showcases my storyboard process as a foundation for visual problem solving. I draw inspiration from an en plein air mindset, prioritizing composition and visual clarity first, then building detail once the structure is strong. Each sequence begins with simplified shapes, clear value relationships, and intentional framing, allowing the image to read before it is refined.

Working through quick sketches and written notes, I develop ideas through iteration, exploring sequencing, spatial relationships, and pacing. This process keeps the focus on how visual information is organized, ensuring that each panel functions clearly and effectively before moving into more detailed execution.
