Patterns of Life

This lesson was an introduction to patterns. For inspiration, the class looked to the golden patterns of Gustav Klimt's "The Tree of Life," hence metallic markers and pearl water colors being the choice of medium.

The students explored geometric and organic shapes, and used leaf shapes to reference to Klimt.
